Privacy policy
How Kiddie Palace handles the details you send us through this website. The short version: we use them to reply to you, and for nothing else.
Who we are
This website belongs to Kiddie Palace, a preschool and daycare at 3 Dale Lace Avenue (corner Knoppiesdoring), Randpark Ridge, Randburg, 2169. Company registration number 2015/396160/07. Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) we are the responsible party for the information you give us.

What this website collects
Only what you type into the enquiry form on our contact page:
- your name
- your phone number
- your email address, if you choose to give it
- your child's age group, if you choose to give it
- whatever you write in the message
We ask for your child's age group, not their name or date of birth, because that is all we need to tell you which class would suit them.
Nothing else. This website uses no cookies, no analytics, no tracking and no advertising. It does not load anything from other companies: no outside fonts, maps or social media widgets. The Facebook links on the site are plain links. Once you click through, Facebook's own privacy policy applies.
The WhatsApp button works the same way. It is a plain link, and nothing loads from WhatsApp until you tap it. Messages you send there go through WhatsApp, a Meta service, under WhatsApp's own privacy policy, and reach our principal's phone. We use them only to reply to you.
Like every web server, our host keeps standard technical logs of requests made to the site, such as the address a request came from and the time it was made. These are used to keep the site secure and running. We do not use them to identify visitors.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry: to answer your questions, arrange a visit, or tell you about availability. That is the only reason. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not send marketing, and we do not use your details for anything you did not ask us about.
Who sees it
When you send the form, your enquiry is emailed directly to the school's own mailbox, info@kiddiepalace.co.za, and read by the principal and the school's management.
The form runs on our own website hosting, provided by Axxess, a South African company, which also hosts our email. We do not use any outside form service, and we do not sell your information or pass it to anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with your question. If your child does not join the school, we delete it within six months. If your child does join, it becomes part of their enrolment records, which we explain to you separately when you enrol.
Your child's information
POPIA gives children's information extra protection. The enquiry form is meant for parents and guardians, and the only thing it asks about your child is their age group. Please do not include more about your child in your message than you need to.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may:
- ask us whether we hold information about you, and see what it is
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- ask us to delete it
- object to us using it, or withdraw the consent you gave
- complain to the Information Regulator
To do any of the first four, email info@kiddiepalace.co.za or phone (011) 794 6988. We will respond as soon as we can, and within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are before we share or change anything.

Please talk to us first. If we cannot put things right, you may complain to the Information Regulator, the independent body that oversees POPIA:
